Some of the best Arepas around. Also really enjoyed the ceviche and michaladas. Overall a really cool vibe and atmosphere and the food is really good.Service isn’t great-we didn’t get half our order, a a lot of what we did get was wrong. We had to ask multiple times for drinks and silverware, and server said he’d bring one of the items that was wrong, but never did.

Great local place for lunch or dinner! The good: the arepas are fantastic, the food and drinks are very good. The staff is very friendly. The bad: the service is terrible...long wait to get served whether it be during a near empty lunch or a busy dinner, the service is just not good. The tables are not cleaned, you have to ask for silverware and napkins. The menus should be thrown out as they are all stained.

Love this place! The food is amazing, and I love that they have daily specials and brunch specials. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is cute. The only criticism I can think of is the long wait times and no reservation process. I genuinely think that they should open another location to accommodate all the customer traffic. (Hope they consider a location in Stamford!)

This place is amazing! Wonderful food, great service, fun environment. There are only a few parking spots, but the place is much bigger on the inside. We are visiting from VA and tried it a few days ago. We have been craving it ever since, so we had to come back before we left!

Went here tonight with some friends but have been going here for several years. Awesome place with good food for lunch and dinner. Be aware that this place is often packed and you might have a wait.Ordered a selection of arepas and empanadas tonight, all of which were tasty. My favorites of the empanadas are the cheeseburger, the ham and cheese, and the beef picadillo.Had the pumpkin flan tonight which was spectacular, better than most pumpkin pies, definitely try it if you enjoy pumpkin based foods.Give Valencia a try, you won't regret it!

AMAZING empanadas y arepas, Venezuelan style. Flavorful, juicy, and a great variation. You’ll have a tough time choosing. Make sure to try any of their cocktails! Great service. Great happy hour. The sandy patio is a must during warmer weather. Parking can be tricky but there’s a small lot in their rear. Side note: My friends rented Valencia’s food truck for their wedding Sept. 2019 - hands down the best food experience at any wedding!!!

Overrated and expensive for what it is. Maybe when they were the only aprea game around it would be worth it but now there are sooo many places to choose from and they haven't stepped up their game. Service was poor, fruit flies all around table and just meh food....

The menu is very extensive and I was really intrigued by the variety of choices. Guacamole is a must for your appetizer. Arepas seem to be the thing to get here, I was super full after two so I'd say that two is the size of a standard meal. I got the Pernil (roasted pulled pork) and the Ruby (plantains and cheese). You have the option to get skillet roasted or fried, I would highly recommend the skillet roasted. Even so, I was really surprised how greasy even the skillet roasted was for the Pernil arepa. The Ruby wasn't too oily which was good.The green sauce here is incredible, I think I ended up using a quarter of the bottle. Apparently you can also buy the green sauce! Might go back and do that soon.

Recently moved to Colorado but used to live right around the corner from Valencia. Every time I come to visit CT it is a MUST stop. Absolutely love their Arepas and margaritas. You can’t go wrong with this place. Worth the wait.

This place is something you NEED to experience!! The atmosphere, the service, the food was all AMAZING!!! We had the lobster enchiladas and coconut shrimp tacos. Both great picks. Definitely would go again!!

This is the place to take anybody visiting Fairfield County. Valenica has some of the best food in the area. The chicken tamarillo arepa is my favorite. Go for "the works" lunch special (not dinner)- it's an amazing value and everything is delicious. My only complaint is that their portions seem to have decreased slightly over the years.

This place had great food. I went because of DDD. It didn't disappoint. The place is always crowded which a local patron told me. But it is worth the wait. Get the pernil arepas they were so good.

Great prices! Wonderful menu. Creative cocktails. Absurdly delicious from the soup to the desserts. Owner Michael welcoming and truly delightful. Everything’s are their specialty but everything was fantastic. Definitely worth finding and enjoying.

Great empanadas. Seriously top notch. Great mixed drinks too. Service can be a little spotty - I’ve gone in and had no problems but I’ve also been there waiting for my food or someone to take my order. Food is worth it though!

Lunch was terrific... Service was slow...pulled pork was nicely done...

They offer a fantastic variety of fresh food. I enjoy dining here. Employees are always helpful, rates are reasonable and the place is always well organised.

Delicious Venezuelan food, great portions and reasonable price. Highly recommend!! You should try their ceviche and the arepas, they are fried and simply delicious!

The absolute best restaurant in Norwalk, possibly New England- can not recommend their empanada combo, fresh juices, and literally anything else on their menu enough!

We stopped for breakfast. It was delicious. If traveling as a group, I suggest ordering a bunch of arepas and splitting them...probably two per person is about right. Service was attentive. Also, the entire menu was available at breakfast time, which was nice!

This is not an authentic Venezuela restaurant which was a disappointment. Food was ok but not what we expected. Staff was friendly but when asked about tequeños they had no idea what that is & to be a Venezuelan restaurant that was not good. This place is not kid friendly they didn’t have a kids menu. Arepas come with sauce we had to ask it was not given to us or offered. The juices were watery. Will not go again & will not recommend this place.

Went to Valencia today with a friend. The outside area is wonderful and very comfortable. We had a little blip with our meal but not only was the waitstaff super accommodating but so were the managers. I have never ever experienced such amazing customer service at any restaurant I’ve ever been to. They were not only apologetic but went out of their way to make everything right. We love you Valencia. We love your food and we’ll see you soon!

Fantastic experience at VL. Went on a Sat. evening around 6 and ended up waiting for about 20 mins for a table for 4. Very much worth the wait! Ordered “The Works” and got to sample a bunch of their specialties, favorite being the arepa mechada and the chipotle corn chowder ! Also got to try the Pollo Mizra which was exceptional, almost an asian fusion with the ginger flavor in play. Guacamole also very good, as were the desserts, especially the hot choco. Did I mention the prices are reasonable? Already looking forward to a return trip!

Unsure what happened. Figured we support local biz and walk to Valencia for take out. I have lived around the corner for five years and this is my go-to. Don’t know if that will hold anymore. Had takeout/curbside. Got arroz con pollo - beans weren’t even cooked and zero flavor. Got two arepas (Carlo - my favorite - and carne mechada - both skilled roasted. Neither arepa corn cake was cooked it was still wet and barely defrosted, the meat was not even warm. I understand we are going through troubling times but don’t open if you’re not ready!!!! I was quoted 25 mins and finally got my takeout at 35-40. Half the staff had their masks half on. I love valencia and want to see it succeed but cmon you are better!!!

Amazing arepas and empanadas. The chicken and chorizo fillings are really good as well. Probably 2 per person of either makes a good meal. Would definitely come back if I come to norwalk!

Not exactly the arepas of my youth but still quite good

Absolutely beautiful place with great food. A large, unique menu with great drinks. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff are very friendly, as well as helpful if you need recommendations; we watched them deal with a troublesome customer with professionalism and courtesy while we were there. All around a great place that we will be returning to for sure.

Sunday's are a zoo because this place has seriously great food and great atmosphere. On a nice day try sitting outside in the sand pit and pretend you're at the beach! Very relaxing.

Heard about this place was super excited to try it... kinda disappointed. Me and a friend ordered 3 empanadas each (which no one knew which was which). The Cubano, Caprese, Chicken, and chorizo with peppers were yummy 6/10. Not a big pork fan so I wont comment on it. The Jenny arepa wasn't great 5/10. On the positive side, nice sized portions, great atmosphere, super friendly staff, and batidos were AMAZING!!! Will return for batidos, alcohol, and fingers crossed for dessert.

They adjusted great to social distancing, and the food is good as ever. 10/10

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you step in it is surprisingly spacious and warm. Service was friendly, food was outstanding. Ordered some dessert empanadas to take home for my kids... delicious. I can't wait to go again.

Great take out! The whole family loves it. Veggie Burrito for me, but tons to choose from.

One of my favorite spots in Norwalk. Food is delicious, consistent and never disappoints. The green salsa is so tasty. Fun PJ brunch monthly. Wear your PJs and you will get a free drink. Not bad!!!
